Quaker Breakfast Flats Are Bomb AF For Those of Us Who Tend to Skip Our Morning Eats

Hey Lovelies!

If you've been paying attention to Fashion's Sense's Facebook Page, you would know that I am adding food content to the blog. My first food related post is about breakfast. Well really my natural aversion to eating it. It's not that I don't like breakfast, I'm just not one to eat this meal on a regular basis. Of course, being in this nursing home I am more likely to skip this meal because the food is subpar in my opinion. I decided to buy breakfast snacks to tide me over and I took a chance on Quaker Breakfast Flats in Cranberry Almond.

I chose this mainly because I like the cranberry almond flavor combination. Plus, it only has 180 calories with 18 grams of whole grains. Already it is healthier than the biscuit and gravy, fatty sausage patty breakfasts I am served here.

The most important thing is the taste. It doesn't matter how healthy something is for me, unless it tastes good I'm not eating it. These breakfast flats taste freaking awesome! I thoroughly enjoyed eating them. Of course, they had to sub for other meals as well because your girl doesn’t eat gray meatloaf or undercooked chicken.

Aside from the taste and low calories, you get to eat three flats per serving. Those three flats do leave you satisfied as far as fullness, but the taste is addictive, so you will be tempted to open another pack. It is made from heart-healthy ingredients such as flax seed, whole grain oats, and sunflower seeds.

Quaker Breakfast Flats come in other flavors like Banana Honey Nut (I am going to try next) and Golden Raisin Cinnamon (not fond of that combination). You should be able to find these at your local grocery store. If by chance your local store does not have them you can get them at Amazon.
