Winter Skincare Review: NaturaliDerm Organic Facial Moisturizer

Hey lovelies! If you happen to live in the path of the winter storms that have blasted much of the United States then your skin may be suffering. The cold, dry, windy air of February is very drying to the skin. Right now dry and combination skin needs all the moisture it can get. Since I have combination skin, I was happy to receive a bottle of NaturaliDerm Organic Facial Moisturizer to review on Fashion's Sense.

What the Product Claims to Do

NaturaliDerm's product slogan is, "Natural skin care at its best." This moisturizer does have plenty of natural ingredients such as aloe, Shea butter, cocoa butter, witch hazel, cucumber, rosemary, and green tea. I am not sure if it is the best, but it sure does boast quality natural ingredients that skin loves.

The bottle also states that it is "Highly hydrating", lightweight, and non-greasy. I agree with two out of three claims. It is hydrating and is non-greasy. Unfortunately, my bottle of moisturizer was not lightweight. Don't get me wrong, it was not heavy, more like medium-weight. This thickness could be problematic for those with oily skin.

What NaturaliDerm Organic Facial Moisturizer Did for My Skin

This winter has been particularly harsh on my skin. My dry areas become patchy. NaturaliDerm absorbed quickly into my skin. It softened the dry patches and made my skin feel soft. I use it after I apply a face serum. It is a great addition to my winter skin care needs.

Final Result: A-

NaturaliDerm is a great moisturizer for fall and winter. The reason for the A- is due it not being lightweight as advertised. The thickness of the cream is a bit too much for the oily parts of my face. As a result, I have to apply a small amount to my face mixed with water to thin it out, pat face dry then apply it undiluted to the dry areas. On the other hand, I simply skip the oily areas some days. The extra tweaking prevents me from giving it an "A".
