Best Deals I Snatched Up At Sephora Last Week

A week ago your beauty guru turned 35 and did a little beauty shopping at her favorite store, Sephora. This week Sephora had an awesome sale and I picked up items for $10.00 or less! Check out my loot...

What prompted me to do a little birthday beauty shopping was the free birthday gift waiting for me with my next order, Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment Mini Duo. Oh how I love this lip treatment. Hands down it is the best lip moisturizer I've ever tried. I never thought I'd say this before, but... I will be spending $22.50 for a lip moisturizer. Being the thrifty gal that I am, I will purchase from Amazon when I have Amazon gift cards to spend to help minimize my direct cost *wink, wink*.

Now for my actual purchases. I was in need of a bronzer compact because my former had to be trashed because my baby was past his prime. Unfortunately, the company that made it was no longer in business so I had to update. Sephora had a limited-edition bronzer called Hot Hues All-Over Bronzer. I got mine for $7.00 and it originally cost $24.00 (SCORE!). I also bought SEPHORA's Harmony Face Powder in Let's Dance for the same sale price. I also bought a lip stain from the Hot Hues collection in Funky Fuchsia for $3.00. It called a balm but unless pre-moisten your lips with a lip moisturizer it ends up feeling kind of dry. The color actually intensifies on your lips a minute after you first apply and stays on for hours. The color may not completely wash off so I suggest using a makeup remover or baby oil to remove the lip stain before you wash your face.

I also purchased a facial cleanser because the later part of the winter and this spring have been murder on my skin. My skin has decided to go back to its oil slick ways that I thought I left behind with my teenage years. I knew I needed a little AHA and BHA help so I as luck would have it Peter Thomas Roth's Anti-Aging Cleansing Gel for $10.00. So far this cleanser is working well. My skin takes a few hours to get oily, which I am happy about. My skin is becoming clearer. I do have to follow it with my Simple Replenishing Rich Moisturizer so my oil glands don't go into hyper drive.

Last we have the samples:

  1. Caudalie Premier Cru The Eye Cream - has been a life saver this week with working double to tidy up things for month end.
  2. Gucci Flora Eau Fraiche - My next fragrance purchase. Smell heavenly!
  3. Korres Pomegranate Mattifying Primer (link is for the duo) - Is not bad at all. It did keep shine at bay in 90 degree weather for a few hours. Which is no small feat when dealing with my skin.

So lovelies, I suggest you start checking out Sephora to see what they may have on sale, You can get some great makeup for less than half at times. My sale items may be out of stock at Sephora but click on the images and you can still purchase them on Amazon at regular price, unfortunately.

Have a fantastic weekend lovelies!
