Almost five years ago, two years before The Solange Wedding, I wrote a quick musing for the Blogging from A to Z challenge about jumpsuits. Jumpsuits were always stylish. However, one can't deny that after Solange's New Orleans wedding, women have been loving the white jumpsuit in particular for late spring and summer.
This Fashion's Sense Throwback Thursday post will revisit my musings along with a style gallery from stores I am an affiliate of (I make a commission on sales through the links in the gallery). If clicking affiliates links is not your thing, you can easily look up the items at the store they are located at on your own.
My lovelies, you should have seen this coming when I spied those jumpsuits yesterday. Yes today's post is all about the jumpsuit. This is a garment not worn very often. When the right style is worn on a person whose figure it flatters the jumpsuit makes quite a fashionable impact.
The great thing about jumpsuits is they look stylish in dark solid, pastels, brights, most prints even in metallics. You can choose a conservative long-sleeve with a round neckline or collar style. Go sexy with a strapless or halter jumpsuit. Be dramatic in a long, wide-legged jumpsuit. Or be fun and youthful with a printed short jumpsuit/romper. Choose something in between with a capri length jumpsuit. The choice is yours.
