Hey lovelies! I wanted to write this review a few weeks ago, but it kept getting put on the back burning. The reason it was put on the back burner is because of how well this system worked for me. The recent makeup videos, #MOTD Instagram posts, and makeup reviews I made were accomplished because of L’Oréal Revitalift Bright Reveal. I am glad I was chosen to try this system out.
About the L’Oréal Revitalift Bright Reveal System
I received the four-product skincare system from BzzAgent (you guys better #getintoit). I took the 30-Day Bright Reveal Challenge using the products detailed in this video:
My 30-Day Bright Reveal Challenge
I used the four-product system every day for 30 days straight. I incorporated it with my acne treatment skincare routine. I loved all the products in the system and they worked fast to correct a lot of the discoloration I have. One area I knew would require more work is the area around my mouth because it is a combination of hormonal issues and old scarring. I also had discoloration around my neck when I began using the system. My neck was darn near black from hyperpigmentation. So, this was the area I was hoping to see results in the most.
After the 30-Day Bright Reveal Challenge
Many of my acne dark spots faded and the rest have diminished enough so they are covered with foundation. The dark area around my mouth did lighten but it is still a real problem area for me. The biggest difference has been my neck. It is almost back to its normal color.
I am not continuing the full system because some items started to prove to be too harsh near the end. The glycolic peel pads and cleanser were too much to use every day. I stopped using the pads but will go back to them if I need to. I lowered my usage of the cleanser to once every three days. The day and night moisturizers are still an everyday essential for me.
My Product Recommendations
I liked all the products. Some were stronger than the rest as I neared the end and others proved effective without irritation for the entire 30 days. My recommendations are in order of most effective (results + irritation level) based upon my experience:
- L’Oréal Revitalift Bright Reveal Brightening Daily Scrub Cleanser - Use three times a week.
- L’Oréal Revitalift Bright Reveal Dual Overnight Moisturizer - If you could only afford one of the moisturizers from this system I recommend purchasing this one. It gives fast results and is a moisturizer and serum.
- L’Oréal Revitalift Bright Reveal Brightening Day Moisturizer with SPF 30 - This seems to have a lower concentration of glycolic acid and retinol. The most important this is this is a sunscreen. If you just want to maintain a brighter complexion and have no dark spots to worry about this could be the only product you need.
- L’Oréal Revitalift Bright Reveal Peel Pads - This is heavy duty but it can irritate you skin because it is strong. Some people have claimed it irritated their skin immediately, others like myself started noticing irritation near the last few days of the challenge. I say use this as needed maybe not use every day.
Lovelies, I am happy with the results of this 30-day L’Oréal Revitalift Bright Reveal Challenge. My skin is bouncing back. I can do makeup videos once again because my skin is clearer and brighter. I am a happy camper!
|My neck was very dark before using Bright Reveal. Even in the shadow, you can see it is back to normal.|
So, lovelies, which one of these products do you think would best suit your needs? Let me know in the comments. You never know... It could appear in a future giveaway.
**I received the reviewed products free. However, I was not asked to write a review on them for this blog. All opinions are my own.**
