Chances are you know what a seam is. Unless you walk around wearing a sarong or toga then you are acquainted with seams. They keep your garment together. Then there are seams that really do not serve a function.
Style seams are not functional in the traditional sense. They are not required in order to ensure fit, hold, or secure a garment in place. They do serve a purpose, to add interest to the garment.
Style seams are not just limited to clothing. Accessories make use of them as well. You will find them more on handbags and boots than any other accessory.
Have you made a garment with style seams in them?
