Some of my Favorite Review Items

Just because I like to insert a little Bishop in the mix sometimes

I've been doing product reviews steadily for a few months now. Some items are ok and some are just fantastic and really are something that I need. This post is to highlight three such items: A vegetable peeler, gel insoles, and lip balm.

DHD Culinary Ultra Sharp Stainless Steel Julienne Peeler

This handy little device is dream for the kitchen. Normally I'd review this item on my lifestyle blog, Sunshine and Rain. However, there was glitch in the Tomoson system (as there often is) which defaulted the review to be placed on this blog. When you look at this peeler, there is nothing that screams out at you. In fact, I was not sure it would hold up to the wear and tear of my kitchen. Boy was I wrong! This handy day peeler peels potatoes, apples, carrots, cucumbers, and other fruits and veggies like no other! It is easy to wash and the cutters remain sharp. You should see my mother use this thing. She gets a 10lb bag of potatoes peeled with this thing in no time at all! If you want to make peeling fruits and veggies easier, I highly recommend the DHD Culinary Peeler.

Syono Orthotics Gel Insoles

My Amazon review for these bad boys say it all:

"I really needed a new pair of insoles. I am recovering from an injury last year and I am using a walker until I can walk without aid. The floors of my apartment are so dang on hard that I still feel the impact of them with sneakers on. I slip these insoles inside of my sneakers and they really help absorb the impact. My ankles and knees were singing thanks to these bad boys. I gave them a truer test by putting them inside of my slippers. It really made a difference with them. While it did not have the same relief as with the sneakers but then again sneakers come with padding and shock absorption anyways. For me to feel a significant difference wearing slippers I am actually impressed."

LaLune Naturals USDA Certified Organic Lip Balm

Before I was received this four-pack of lip balm to review, I used to use Burt’s Bees lip balm. I have to say LaLune Naturals' lip balm is comparable to Burt's Bees. The pack hold four flavors, Peppermint, Raspberry, Vanilla Bean and Asian Pear. Each smell wonderful and last for a long time. At the rate I am using them, this pack will take me through the year. The only thing that may be a problem is the price. You can get lip balm cheaper. However, this balm makes my lips feel the way that Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment makes my lips feel. So paying $11.99 for a pack of four versus $22-plus for Fresh Sugar for one balm, I'll go with LaLune Naturals any day.

Those are my three faves so far. I'll probably come back around during Christmas time with a list of my favorites for your shopping lists.

I received these items free in exchange for my honest review.
