Moisturizer Knockout Pt. 1: Adeline Anti-Aging Moisturizer

Hey lovelies! This is post number one in today’s two-post moisturizer knockout between Adeline Anti-Aging Moisturizer and Body Merry's Retinol Surge Moisturizer. This post will focus on Adeline's moisturizer, so let's get started.

Does It Moisturize?

When I shared that I was testing this product, I received many requests from friends to let them know how moisturizing it is. I can let everyone know that it is very moisturizing. If you have dry skin, this moisturizer will keep your skin hydrated.

For normal and combination skin, it might be too moisturizing. However, if you use cleansing and toning products that are a bit drying, then this moisturizer might help balance things out. I do not recommend it for oily skin. It left the oily areas of my face feeling heavy and I ended up shiny in those places about 30-minutes after application.

Best Uses for Adeline Anti-Aging Moisturizer

This moisturizer works best with Adeline's own hyaluronic serum. Unfortunately, I found it does not agree with serums from other brands. The two products fought against each other and actually flaked off. Therefore, I suggest use it with the Adeline serum or skip a serum and just use this after you cleanse and tone.

Final Thoughts

Adeline Anti-Aging Moisturizer is a decent moisturizer. I feel it is suited better for drier skin types. I also think normal and combination skin might find it useful during the winter when skin tends to be drier.

**I received a complimentary bottle of this product from the manufacturer in exchange for my unbiased and honest review.**
