8 plus size women that are too hot for Mike Jeffries and Abercrombie & Fitch - Philadelphia New Castle & Cecil County | Examiner.com

I read something disturbing this week and had to write something about it. I refrained from doing a full-on commentary about the story and decided to illustrate a point. Plus size women and men are just as attractive, hot, sexy, cool, etc as their "standard" size counterparts. I do not begrudge Mike Jeffries on his view of beauty. When your view of beauty causes you to take discriminatory actions such as not hiring employees who do not fit the look and stating that you do not even want "fat people" in your stores, is not acceptable in our society.

This is especially appalling when our youth, specifically our young women, are faced with self-esteem issues because they feel they do not measure up to a certain standard of beauty. How worse do you think our precious children will feel if they were to step inside of an Abercrombie & Fitch store and were made to feel uncomfortable or worse flat out told they don't belong there? Well, Mike Jeffries pretty much told them this. I do not feel making someone feel like they don't count or matter because of how they look is acceptable for any business! So I wrote this quick List for Examiner to remind those who feel they fall outside of the ideal that being a size 10 or larger does not make you ugly, or uncool. In fact, you just may be the hottest and coolest chick on the planet!
